minunit num

очевидно, первый имеется ввиду maxunit.
некоторая копипаста-опечатка.

но в _английском_  мане!

А вот и нет =)

Проблему в ман вносит alt-specific патч, добавляющий параметр minunit. Параметра maxunit не существует -- он задан константой 255.

Думаю, первое описание minunit нужно просто удалить.
